The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding students at the high school level. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
For prospective students Sophomores and juniors who have achieved an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher will be invited to apply for membership in NHS, February of 2016. The application requires three teacher recommendations and approval from the ROHS faculty council. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance into NHS in March and inducted into the organization at our annual Reduction/Induction Ceremony scheduled for April 19, 2016.
